Dalila Dehbashi, CPA

Managing Partner

  • Earned a degree in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge.
  • Began CPA career as a Staff Auditor at Moss Adams LLP, specializing in assurance services for retirement plans, manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, and healthcare industries.
  • Joined Pension Assurance LLP as a Manager in March 2020 and was promoted to Partner in January 2023.

John Russon, CPA

Partner

  • Graduated Cal State Northridge and began career at Arthur Andersen in 2002.
  • In 2006, after one year as a sole practitioner, merged with and was named Partner-in-Charge of benefit plan audits at CNM LLP.
  • Co-founded Pension Assurance LLP in 2014.
  • Regularly speaks at retirement plan conferences and events.

Nathan Johnston, CPA

Partner

  • Attended University of Southern California film school.
  • Post film school, began a second education in public accounting.
  • Launched CPA career as a staff auditor at a local firm, performing audits of small-to-mid-sized corporations, non-profits, and employee benefit plans.
  • Joined John Russon’s employee benefit plan audit practice in 2007.
  • Named Audit Director in 2012; named Partner in 2014.

Eric Kuo, CPA

  • Earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
  • Named Partner at Pension Assurance LLP in 2018.
  • Leads audits for several of the firm’s largest and most complex retirement plans.
  • Lives in Los Angeles with his wife and foster dogs. Enjoys playing golf and watching sports.

Alex Sanchez, CPA, QKA

Partner

  • Earned a degree in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach College of Business.
  • Began CPA career in 2003 as a Staff Auditor at a regional firm in Orange County, CA, conducting audits for mid-market privately held companies, nonprofits, and employee benefit plans.
  • Joined Pension Assurance as an Audit Director in 2019 and was named Partner in 2022.
  • Obtained the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in 2023.

Jennifer Bryant, CPA

Partner

  • Graduated from Old Dominion University.
  • Started public accounting career in 2006, specializing in attest functions for companies of all sizes across various industries, with a strong focus on employee benefit plans.
  • Joined Pension Assurance LLP as an Audit Director in March 2022 and was named Partner in January 2024.
  • Passionate about building strong relationships with clients and colleagues while ensuring a seamless audit experience.

Brian Coons, CPA

Partner

  • Earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
  • Started at Pension Assurance as an intern in 2016, returned as a Manager in 2020, and was promoted to Audit Director in 2024 before becoming Partner in January 2025.
  • Began CPA career as a Staff Tax Associate at EY in Los Angeles, specializing in high-net-worth individuals and their private businesses.

Jason Figgat, CPA

  • Graduated from Brigham Young University.
  • Began public accounting career in 2007 at a local firm in San Jose.
  • Joined Pension Assurance LLP as an Audit Director in January 2021 and was named Partner in 2025.
  • Enjoys astronomy, building computers, hiking, and installing custom car audio systems.

Alicia Neururer, CPA

Partner

  • Earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration from Bemidji State University.
  • Began CPA career at KPMG in Minneapolis, MN, in 2013, then spent over seven years at Eide Bailly in Sioux Falls, SD, performing audits, reviews, and compilations for private companies, along with conducting numerous benefit plan audits annually.
  • Joined Pension Assurance in January 2022 to focus on benefit plan audits and was named Partner in 2026.
  • Resides west of Grand Rapids, MN, with her husband and two sons. Enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping.
