Alicia Neururer, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Graduated from Bemidji State University with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration
  • Launched CPA career at KPMG in Minneapolis, MN, in 2013 and then spent over seven years at Eide Bailly in Sioux Falls, SD, performing audits, reviews, and compilations for private companies as well as performing dozens of benefit plan audits annually
  • Joined Pension Assurance in January 2022, looking to dedicate her career to benefit plan audits and named Practice Leader in 2024
  • Presently resides west of Sioux Falls, SD with her husband and two sons. Enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping.

Brian Coons, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Accounting and Master of Accountancy
  • Originally joined Pension Assurance as an Intern in 2016 and returned in 2020 as a Manager and was named a Practice Leader in 2024
  • Launched CPA career as staff tax associate at EY in Los Angeles, working with high-net-worth individuals and their private businesses

Christopher Beckett, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Graduated from California State University, Northridge
  • Joined Pension Assurance LLP in 2016 to devote 100% of his effort to developing expertise in the unique area of benefit plan audits
  • Lives in Colorado with his wife and son

Jason Figgat, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Graduated from Brigham Young University
  • Started career in public accounting in 2007 at a local firm in San Jose
  • Joined Pension Assurance LLP in January 2021 as a Practice Leader
  • Interests include astronomy, building computers, hiking, and installing custom car audio systems

Jeff Sabetta, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Attended St. John Fisher College
  • Spent 20+ years in a large regional public accounting firm performing audits of employee benefit plans, corporate entities, and non-profit organizations
  • Actively involved in AICPA peer review program
  • Joined Pension Assurance in 2023

John “JB” Bautista, CPA

Practice Leader

  • Graduated from California State University Northridge with a BS in Accountancy
  • Began his career as an auditor in 2015 at PwC, performing audits for publicly traded companies
  • Joined Pension Assurance in 2017 to specialize in employee benefit plan audits
  • Based out of San Diego, CA, he enjoys golfing in his free time
